Nearly $250 Million Targets Addiction Before and After the Crisis

DeFiance Daily — The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has awarded $247.9 million through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration for addiction treatment, overdose prevention and mental health services. The funding spans the full cycle of care, from preventing overdoses and treating opioid addiction to addressing youth mental health, trauma and long-term recovery.
