House Passes CBDC Anti-Surveillance State Act to Safeguard American Privacy and Sovereignty

Thursday, the House of Representatives passed the CBDC Anti-Surveillance State Act, a bill spearheaded by Majority Whip Tom Emmer. With a vote of 216-192, the legislation aims to prevent the Federal Reserve from issuing a central bank digital currency (CBDC) that could allow the federal government to monitor and control individual spending.
