Ethereum Foundation and Consensys Launch ERC-8004 to Power the Next Era of AI on Ethereum

DeFiance Daily – The Ethereum Foundation’s dAI team and Consensys have officially released ERC-8004, a new open protocol designed to let AI agents discover, verify, and collaborate without intermediaries—paving the way for decentralized “agent economies” that run entirely on blockchain rails. The specification, co-signed by leaders from Coinbase, Google, MetaMask, and the Ethereum Foundation, marks one of the most significant bridges yet between AI and Web3 innovation.
